Welcome to DI Cake Studio Academy ("we," "us," or "our"). Before you access or use our website, products, services, or participate in our cake design and decoration classes, please carefully read and understand these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). 

By accessing or using our website, purchasing our products, or enrolling in our classes, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.

These terms and conditions do not in any way affect your statutory rights as a consumer. 

The content of the pages of this website is for your general information and use only and is subject to change.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Terms and any applicable laws and regulations. If you are using our services on behalf of a company or organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind the entity to these Terms.

Registration and Account

To access certain features of our website and enroll in our classes, you may be required to register for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and current information during the registration process. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

Payments and Pricing

For the purchase of our products or enrollment in our classes, you agree to pay all applicable fees as described on our website. Prices are subject to change without notice, but changes will not affect orders for which you have already received an order confirmation. All payments are securely processed, and we do not store your payment information.

Payments for all courses/classes are non-refundable and non-transferrable at any time.

Online and Offline Masterclasses  

Our cake design and decoration classes and workshops may be conducted both online and offline. By enrolling in a class or workshop, you agree to abide by any specific terms and conditions provided for that particular class, including cancellation policies, rescheduling options, and materials required.

For Online Classes, on booking and paying for a class(es) you will receive a booking and payment confirmation by email and automatic login into your account on our online learning platform. 

The majority of the online classes are taught via our online platform, but there is a part of them that happens via a private Facebook group. For Facebook group classes, upon booking your class, you will receive full joining instructions, class running times, and any pre-course material needed.

For Offline Classes, these can be done either in groups or in private. Typically the fee that is paid for an offline masterclass both private or in group may include the cost of any materials to be used. The exact requirements will be communicated via the contact data provided during the registration to a masterclass. 

The organization of offline masterclass is subject to changes according to tutor's preferences and availability. 

In the unlikely event that we have to cancel a class due to unforeseen circumstances, we will reschedule the class date and offer students a transfer to the rescheduled date. If the new date is inconvenient to the student, we will offer a transfer to an alternative online class. We will endeavor to advise students as far in advance as possible if we need to cancel a class.

Gift Vouchers

Gift Cards can be purchased and can be used for full or part payment of any of our classes. 

Purchasing a gift voucher means that the purchaser has read, and agreed to, our Terms and Conditions on behalf of the recipient. 

Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash, but if the recipient of a gift voucher cannot use it for any reason, then they may transfer the gift voucher to another name.

Vouchers are valid for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. Cannot be redeemed after the expiry date.

Intellectual Property

All content provided in our classes, including but not limited to videos, instructional materials, and designs, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content for commercial purposes without our express written consent.

You may use the skills and techniques learned in our classes for personal and non-commercial purposes, including cake design and decoration for personal use or as part of a business.

Any unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of our content is strictly prohibited.

Privacy Policy 

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our services.

Code of Conduct  

Participants in our classes, whether online or offline, are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and professional manner toward our instructors and fellow participants.

We reserve the right to remove any participant from a class for disruptive behavior or violation of our code of conduct without a refund.

Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability  

While we strive to provide accurate and high-quality content and services, we make no warranties or guarantees, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of our products, services, or content. We shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services.

Modifications to Terms 

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice.

It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for changes.

Your continued use of our services after any modifications indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law 

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in London.
